He's actually pretty cute and still fairly young if someone if looking for a new family member. Is it anyway you can do an addtional posting in Van Nuys?

I sure can, he will die tomorrow morning, due to space issues, they dont care, they dont keep dogs longer then a month. i will post there... thanks

That's a shame. I really wish people would think before they breed. I sort of wish there was some spay/neuter law, where you had to have a really good reason (like preservation of a breed) in order to keep pets unaltered.

i wish so too... many dogs and cats are killed daily... i dont even know how many... every morning when i log on to facebook, i have at least 10 RIP pics and posts from dogs that were put down...

It's the same with horses, too, especially in this economy. There's an auction the next town over from me that frequently sends the unsold horses to the slaughterhouses in Mexico and Canada... it's so sad. Makes you just wish you could take them all in.

So sad, I wish there was something I could do to save all the unwanted animals out there. I can't even go to the shelter because I will just start bawling. The last time I went, I brought one home. I can't afford more pets but wish that I could because I only adopt pets from the shelter or take in strays. There is no need to pay for a pet when there are so many good ones who are just waiting for someone to adopt them. Our dog from the shelter, a beautiful black Lab, was about to be put down in a few days when we adopted him, and he was free of charge to anyone who adopted him. They had done all his shots and had signs up begging someone to adopt him. My mom had gone to the shelter earlier the same day and told me about him, and I convinced my husband that we needed to rush over and rescue him. I wish I could have saved them all. He has been a great dog for us and I'm so glad we adopted him when we did or he would be dead like Mr. Ed.

i could not do it either... but i am fighting for each dog that is emailed to me... when we got our first dog from the shelter... i cried and cried because i could only take one... walking by the Building A ( thats where the non-adoptables stay) i broke down, because i knew they would kill them. you can only get them if you have a license to rescue..

Didn't some of these people read your post? I mean... You made it quite clear that he was put down. He died. Yet, they are making statements that they hope he gets the help he needs. Are they serious??? I am really sad about this. Pit Bulls always seem to get a bad rap.
