I got in a head on collision on January 21.  Some %*((&& woman was texting and hit me on my way to surgery.  I wrote about it, but I didn't think I was badly hurt.  My back hurt a little.  Then, I went to the doctor and it's gotten worse.  I have been on meds, and sleep a lot.  I also have been a physical therapy.  I really thought a couple of Tylenol and a heating pad with fix me right up, but no.  I'm getting better now, and have stopped the heavy medication at least during the day, so I hope to be here more.  I miss Gather and my friends.  I am sleepy and need to go rest but am better.  My husband was hurt, too as he just had rotator cuff surgery a week before.  I'm so ticked off.  She never looked up even after I beeped.  Sorry if I interrupted her texting.  Please don't text folks.  It's a killer.  I also wanted to say thank to Annemarie for my Secret Sister Gifts.  It was so nice to get a present while mending.

OH NO! I am so glad you are ok. I get soooo upset when I see someone texting while driving, what is soooooooo important that it cant wait?!?!?!?! I hope her cost of insurance goes thru the roof, she should have to pay more for being so negligent.

DO NOT sign off on this accident or "settle" because things can come up which may not appear to be related - but are. Wait one two or three years even... People who are using cell phones and/or texting must be responsible for other's pain and suffereing - period!!!!

Opps, glad it wasn't worse and you are mending. My daughter still suffers from a Workers Comp claim (fall on ice at work) even years later.

I wondered when you said you were in an accident if some injuries might show up later. They often do. Sure hope you're back to normal soon.

Carol. You are so right about being on a phone while driving. If being out there on the roads isn't hard enough. Sorry, you and your hubby were injured. I'am glad it was not worse. I Pray for a Full-Recovery for You and Hubby!

I am so glad that it wasnt worse.. Texting and even cell phones should be against the law when driving... Its a distraction..

I am so glad to know you are not worse than it could have been, when I am out driving, I see people text all the time, they don't have a clue, most of the younger ones that text don't have enough driving experience to be on the road, the cell phone should be put in the back seat while they are driving, they don't stop and think about any one but themselves.....hope you are on the mend.
