Deadliest Catch Captain Dies Phil Harris Age 53

Deadliest catch captain dies at the age of 53 today in what appears to have been caused by complications of a recent stroke. Phil Harris was born on Dec 19, 1956 and enjoyed a long career of 32 years fishing the Alaskan waters. He has graced our televisions in the exciting fishing adventure show “The Deadliest Catch.” Phil Harris will be missed by many.

I send my regards to his family, Mr Harris was fun to watch, my husband and I watch deadlyiest catch all the time and our favorite parts are with phil and his family. watching his son cook for him was one of my favorite episodes. He will be missed

With all the commotion of the new year I haven't been able to watch my favorite show for awhile now. When the "Safe Passage" memorium aired on discovery today, my heart nearly quit beating! I couldn't believe Phil had passed. He was my absolute favorite captain on Deadliest Catch along with the entire Cornelia Marie crew. I am heartbroken! May God bless his family and friends while they cope with their grief. I will miss him dearly *sniffles*
