I was away from the TV when the Tim Tebow ad came on during the Super Bowl.  There was one ad posted on YouTube buy my hubby said it wasn't the one they showed, since it didn't show him tackling his mom.  This one does.

After I saw the Tim Tebow ad last night, I thought the people who objected to it really needed to get a hobby. They made a big deal out of that?! Even liberals this morning were talking about how stupid it was that people made such a fuss about CBS airing it.

Indeed. A few days ago, I read a liberal blogger who said that although he disagreed with Tebow and Focus on the Family, he couldn't understand how airing a 30 second ad was going to hurt anyone.

Everyone who made a fuss about the ad, really ended up helping Focus on the Family. Not hurting it.

I went to a Super Bowl party last night and everybody except me and one other person are pro-life. Everybody was talking about how they were going to throw things at the screen when the ad came on. I sat quietly and watched the ad. I was the only one who saw it! I said to the woman next to me, "Everybody missed it." She said, "That was it?"

I have to wonder what people thought they were going to see and hear. Tebow was on talks shows about this before the Super Bowl. He told people that his mother was just going to tell her story in a 30 second ad.

No, there was not a thing wrong with the ad. (Except that his mother admits to not having an abortion.)
