I thought it was interesting that the big Tea Party Convention was held in Nashville, Tennessee instead of someplace let's say like Boston. So this sparked my interest.
As you know the Tea Party folks claim to be "non racists" and diverse. Hold on now let's take a look at the evidence. Like they say if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and has feathers like a duck, it's a duck!
The Tea Party Convention was held during February, African American History Month in the state of Tennessee which is the same state back on December 24th, 1865 that gave birth to a group called The Klu Klux Klan.
I think most of us reading this article will consider the KKK a racist group. But with the Tea Party this is just coincidence. Yeah, right.
Let's move on a bit from 1865 to 1867 and move to the city of Nashville, Tennessee. The KKK needed organization after being formed in 1865, so in 1867 the group met in Nashville, Tennessee for their first ever national gathering.
Who else met in Nashville for their first national gathering in 2010- that's right the Tea Party. I know Tea Party loyalists are going to be in denial that this is their first national gathering so here's proof- The Times on Line. Also here's a reference to the birth of the KKK and their first national convention in 1867 in Nashville. Of course this is just pure coincidence- and I got the some cheap land to sell you. LOL
Let's move on just a little bit to some Tea Party associations; one of the Tea Party support groups is the Council of Conservative Citizens which is a reformation of the White Citizens Councils of the south that fought against desegregation tooth and nail. My parents and grand parents used to call them the "Uptown Klan" or "suit and tie KKK". The Council of Conservative Citizens is classified by the renowned Southern Poverty Law Center as a white hate group. And to be specific the Council of Conservative Citizens is classified as "white nationalist" in ideology.
Let's continue on a bit, Tea Party movement participation is encouraged by the CCC because the Tea Party movement is full of hate and racism and provides a fertile pool of potential recruits for the Council of Conservative Citizens whom members participate in Tea Party events, pass out cards and literature in hopes of gaining membership.
OK, I see I forgot to mention the John Birch Society and their Tea Party involvement. You got it right, JBS supports the Tea Party and show it on their website right here. And proof of JBS having extremist views is the fact they are listed as one of those radical, paranoid Patriot groups by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
So when it comes to the Tea Party being de facto racist, if it walks like a duck, has feathers like a duck and quacks like a duck- it's a duck!

Why do we give these people any time of day period?
Sarah Palin has her inbred, genetically screwed up face all over on the news today spewing here hate and just plain stupidity, and there we are discussing whether or not she is right or wrong!?
Thats all these people are is racists! They have never and will never have any respect towards this administration, only because of one reason, Barack Obama is black!!!!!!
_ Patriotism Okay! not bad yet, the white kind.
_for anti diversity
_for guns
_for anti-abortion
_for single paycheck families...yeah, that one will make folks rush to vote for their candidate.
_anti-a third party...smart!
_vote anti-party just political character and principals..That could actually fly. We do that here in Cambridge locals have no party affiliation. (Cambridge City Council =9 members)
_anti-LGBT...no gay or lesbian folks, that they know of....
_for community charity [over Government programs with checks and balances.] They want folks in hard times to beg strangers rather than seek help from social services.
*_term limits for Congress, now this one I can agree with: 2 terms and no residual draw on the governments funds--not a penny. That means 6-12 years per Senate seat and the House was not mentioned, I do not believe that they understand the two house Congress.
_Education: they want the classrooms not to teach anything other than the Constitution and I do mean the original without amendments. So women and minorities shall become salves once again.
__No immigration, ZERO!
The list goes on and I am getting nauseous.
I lose out big time on this one.
So what do they want, lower taxes, smaller government (whatever that means) and to dress up in colorful period costume of the 17th a century and claim their belief in a Christian God and call themselves true patriots. Sounds like the Republican party to me and the last time they were in power we were attacked on 9/11 started a war that has never been paid for, and after eight yrs. the U.S. economy was on the brink of total collapse and teen pregnancies were on the increase (evidence by the Republican V.P. nominee own daughter having a child out of wedlock, not that I really care, but interesting) lost of jobs and un-control borders. I'll stop here for now, the list is to long of conservative failures to list.
And the Tea Party gang would have you to believe they could do better? Oh really....LOL
