One of my resolutions is to exercise more - ideally two hours a day. The types of exercise I prefer are walking/running/biking/hiking. I also like kick-boxing/cardio-boxing, but that may be pushing the envelope just a little for now (although, if I manage to find a way to do that I will post about it in one of my future journals).
My time is currently spread pretty thin, which has been thwarting my need to be in great shape. I'm hoping by writing these journals, the effect will be that I will work on placing more importance on exercise and in turn, I will hopefully expect more from others in terms of being able to delegate more tasks - and just expect more from those around me in general.
Since I really would like to get back into kick-boxing/cardio-boxing, I am going to take the small step of making some phone calls, and start to make tentative plans to take a class as of two Mondays from now (which would be just a little over a week). This will depend on whether class times available are compatible at all with my schedule (which is tight).
I will write another journal next Saturday, which will include an update on any scheduling issues I may be having that would negate the possibility of taking a kick-boxing/cardio-boxing class. For anyone struggling to meet their resolution goals, take a look at this article: Share your new year's resolution journals and try try try to make your resolutions your reality.
