I've always found it difficult to make my portraits seem life-like, it's hard for me to get the shading right. I've tried to draw upside down, sideways, to focus on one area of the body and completely draw that part before starting another part, grids and none of it seems to work for me. I was just wondering if anyone had any new ideas for me to try?
