R&B Singer Teddy Pendergrass has pass at age 59 from colon cancer. Teddy Pendergrass began his career as a drummer first and rose to fame in the 1970s when he became lead singer of Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes.
After leaving Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes Teddy begin his solo career, and had several hits like Turn off the lights, Love TKO, and several other hits. In 1982 Teddy was injured in a car crash which left him paralyzed from the waist down. Although paralyzed Teddy still continued his music career.
I can't tell you how much I listen to his music as a child my mother loved Teddy Pendergrass It was always playing in our house. Teddy is gone, but never forgotten a true musical legend.His music will live on forever.
