This video is a slick pastiche of boogeyman buzzwords aimed at conservative's visceral hot buttons. Negative messages are the Republican party's stock in trade, if it motivates conservatives to the polls, then it is a successful ad...but the video is not a treatise with principles or aspirations like the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence nor a proof or analysis based in facts, causation, and effects! The facts are the conservative voter did go to the polls in droves in 2008...the independents just swung the election to the Dems..if conservatives want to win in 2010, they need to swing them back...Negative ad campaigns appeal to conservatives ..so-so effectiveness to independents...

Conservatives don't need negative ad campaigns with facts like the economic numbers in this video. Then again, anything other than praising democrats and their policies is considered an "attack" by the likes of you.

You are right however, regarding independents. We saw their power on display in Virginia and New Jersey last year. Democrats threw every attack ad and typical negative spin from their dusty play book and still had their asses handed to them in their respective governor races.

According to the video... I dont think it was meant that the conservatives or Republicans voted for those losers into office... I took it that the Dems or Independents would of been the ones voting for them...
I think this video is just telling everyone that these same ones that worshipped him , Have Seen The Light... Give me an AMEN to this one... and have taken the blinders off and seen what the three jackasses are all about..

This is a negative ad video! Just because facts are presented in a cool format does not prove causation or linkage to the current or past administration's policies..the economic numbers are rooted in banking changes made in the late '90's and lax oversight by the SEC ...whether you point to a systematic starvation of federal governance, basic disregard for balanced budgets, or accounting frauds ....the last decade was full of economic bubbles and froth plus a huge expansion of the military.....all while Americans shopped til they dropped at Wal-Mart consuming every sort of Chinese goods.

Sure , you can complain, but no more taxes is ridiculous. Guess we can let the highways deteriorate, fire department, who needs them, I could go on and on about things we take for granted. I think we are just plain spoiled.

I dont think this video meant no more taxes... it meant no more taxes to be added to us... we are already taxed beyond our means now... this is the way I took it.... we all know that we have to pay some taxes but dont tax us anymore...

Vickey, remember the duck book, these were people who felt they should not pay their taxes and many went to prison for tax evasion. I agree Jeff about the bailout, but maybe they should make it clear when they say no more taxes. As long as there are people there will be increased taxes. We don't have to call people stupid because you disagree with another opinion. Maybe you should look inward.

My inward way of thinking is that there should be a fixed amount of tax that the government can take, meaning a flat tax, written into the constitution. No more raising taxes. If government the government can't operate at a capped rate of 12% across the board then they need to be replaced with people who can. If they need more money they should stop making excuses and grow the economy. That would be the only way they could increase revenue.

By the way, I said you were stupid OR crazy. Right now I am leaning toward crazy if you think that every time government screws things up financially they should just raise taxes.

In theory that would be nice. What goes on behind the scenes is the problem and that begins with CORPORATE AMERICA. We all realize government is bought and paid for by big business. That includes both parties and we can't deny that, BRIBES are the way into politics. When the middle class carries the blunt of taxes instead of the people who should pay their fair share then something is wrong with this picture.

I don't disagree with anything you said there. Under my system the corporate and capital gains tax would all be 12% as well with no favoritism or "favors" paid for by special interest lobbyists. You pay 12%. No loopholes, no excuses.
