Tuesday, Tuesday....Jan 12th 2010

Morning folks, I am still freezing but am having good timed hot flashes! I have been getting these flashes since Christmas week and some of the moments have been hilarious.

When down in VA I was getting them alot. It was 20 degrees out and I opened the window in my room and was sneaking downstairs to turn the heat lower! While driving back up to NY on the Belt Parkway ...we were stuck in bumper to bumper....I turned the heat off when the girls wasn't looking then opened the car window! I got yelled at!! I actually had sweat on my forehead!  I am terrified to see how this plays in the summer.

I guess I am "lucky". These could have start at age 39 when I had the hysterectomy. The dr had left one ovary in(since that one was ok) so I wouldn't have to go on hormone therapy. I have heard that these flashes can last a few months or the rest of your life....I am hoping for the few months!

My plans for the summer are not set! yes...it is January and my July reservations are not made!! totally out of character for me. I started to make plans to hit VA Beach for the fourth of July and Anna's birthday then drive down to Fl stopping in NC and St Augustine Fl. My younger daughter gets mad about me not taking the train(last week she wanted to drive).

I cancelled the hotel for St Augustine. LOL..and it was at a good rate!

Anna calls last night and I tell her my plans and how I changed them and she is upset that I not spend the 4th & her birthday with her!!!! So of course I said that I will be with her and can't wait to see the fireworks at Mt Trashmore!

So folks....I have no set plans. I have to get to Fl for the house. I really want to stay for about a month- which is impossible since I had obligations up here. It is hard having two places! I want to hang on to the Florida home since it is looking good for me going down there in a few years. Also the lawyer advised me not to sell it yet since I would get almost nothing for it! ...we also don't want the hassle of renting it out.

So I will head down south a few times a year without Mickey or Universals....no Manta...just plain painting and cleaning and complaining children!
