Who cares, I don't like his over the top obnocious attitude - you'd think with all his money he could aford to buy some tees that don't show his nipples.

I stopped watching when they brought on that ANNOYING woman last season. I knew once Paula left it wouldn't be the same, and without Simon i'll probably stop watching along with most other people.

I don't like Simon Cowell. He is an A-hole. I wondered if Simon and Paula had a thing for each other. Dad says that Chef Ramsey on Hell's Kitchen is tons worse, than Simon Cowell. I told Dad that if there was no cussing or swearing, it couldn't be called Hell's Kitchen. It would be called Mama's Kitchen or Martha Stewart's Kitchen. I am glad that we don't get FOX 39 or FOX 47 with the digital convertor box. I don't watch shows that have Ellen Degeneres on it. I don't support shows that have gay people on it. I have never been crazy for American Idol, anyway. I only like the part where contestants compete, get voted on and eliminated. I have never heard of "The X Factor" show. When Simon Cowell is on The X Factor next year, I wonder if American Idol will go down the drain. When I heard that Bob Barker was retiring, I stopped watching the Price is Right. Drew Carey does a poor imitation of Bob Barker. I watched part of an episode, with Drew Carey on the TPIR last year. Dad says that the contestants thank Simon Cowell for being so judgemental and hard on them, when they are cutting records. Simon makes $36 million a year, being on American Idol. He isn't God. Nobody deserves to get paid like that.

The only reason to watch American Idol is Simon Cowell – otherwise there is no fun in that show whatsoever. Ok, there are some decent singers, but there is no fun unless you have Simon ripping people's hearts out. (Admit it – that's pretty much the only reason to watch the show.) He'll be leaving the show at the end of the next season – but it isn't that you'll need to bribe him, or get payday loans for Idol DVDs – he's coming back with the US version of X Factor, though that's essentially the same show. Sometimes it makes me mad when I like the contestant and his comment is very not acceptable.. But I just think that it is also good for the contestant to be more motivated to make their piece more acceptable to him

American Idol has been changing over the past few seasons and many viewers have not been pleased. I think that is what motivated Paula to leave and now Simon. They want out before the show slides down in the ratings. Simon's new venture sounds similar to American Idol. HH
