Simon Cowell Says He is Leaving 'American Idol' Does it Matter?

Simon Cowell Announced that this will be his last season on American Idol.  Does it really matter?  Paul Abdul left and the show goes on.  What is more important the judges rants or the talent on stage and the people who vote for them?  The judges only determine who gets into the finals.  What do you think??

No, I think he left because he knows it won't be the same w/o Paula. Neither will be back and the show will die a slow death. Simon told it like it was - he understands talent, as does Paula and (oh, his name escapes me) does too.

I have always hated him. I would love for him to leave - I would watch it even more without him. He is an obnoxious idiot IMHO. I can't wait for it to start with Ellen. She is so wonderful and it will be a joy to see her face off against him.

I think it will matter some, he addd his own "character" to the show, as did the other judges. If it was just a matter of people singing and people judging, then the show probably would have went like this: La La La, "ok, good, you pass, Next"- or, la Loo La , "ok, you suck, No Pass, Next-. LOL Personally as far as eLlEn dEgEnErEs is concened, I think she has about the personality of a dry fart in the wind. However, people are fickle, and if they like "hEr", then no matter what she says or does, they will still probably "like" her.

I am not sure, but he does find talent off the show, as well. He found Leona Lewis!
