I'll gladly send you some of our snow Jax. It has been snowing since yesterday afternoon and is still snowing with wind on top of that. We have about 7-8 inches of new snow.

I read on the news that you folks in the south were going to be seeing some snow and cold temps! It's snowing heavy here and in the 20's in Mid MI.

It is really looking pretty at my house. I've put birdseed on top of the snow on the deck railing and the birds are having a field day.

Still no snow here to speak of this entire winter! We've been getting lots of rain and now it's below freezing, so we have ICE!

That's not good! I much rather have snow than ice; the power almost always goes out when that happens and I like my electricity. If the world as we know it were to end, I'm afraid I wouldn't be of much help to anyone!

I'm in Atlanta (airport area) and we had a few flurries, but nothing much as of yet. My children are doing the "Snow Dance" and keeping vigil watching WSB-Tv for news of their school's cancellation. If any accumulation falls between now and the morning, chances are high that it will regardless of the amount. That's just the way it goes in Georgia!

I'm quite a bit north of you....Kennesaw area.....and we've gotten flurries on and off for a few hours now. I bet school will be cancelled here tomorrow.

It was kind of exciting to see at least some falling from the sky and a light dusting here and there on the ground, but really, is this the best we can hope for? If it's going to be this cold, I want snow. Otherwise, I want warm. Is that too much to ask?(G)

It's been snowing sideways much of the day here. Winds have been blowing it around & drifting it like crazy. Glad you got yours; enjoy!

We did get an inch overnight, Jax. It made me wonder if you did. So much of the time the weather here continues to move east towards you. I hope you get enough to feel satisfied. And sure hope you are doing okay with the foot.

Is that all you are expecting? We've been watching the weather and some places will get more than this inch. I'm sort of glad this year for just the inch. Now if it were the weekend and hubby didn't have to go to work, it would be different. Besides, we still have to make it through the rest of January and February. We could have a bona fide blizzard yet! It hasn't been that long since Atlanta, Chattanooga, etc. did have a blizzard, it seems to me.

There is more than an inch on the ground now. I haven't been outside since 4 pm or so. I've been trying to keep my poor foot elevated, so it doesn't throb.
