The Twilight: New Moon stars rang in the new year quietly together. YES FRIENDS, Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart were spotted spending some quality time and R & R on an island off of the south coast of England. They were spotted by a young fan at Ventnor, a seaside resort on the Isle of Wight, about 80 miles south of Pattinson's family home in West London. The co-stars happily posed for photos with the fan (shocking--did Robert speak in an American accent?) before vanishing back into isolation. Wait I thought that was what their characters do.
Anyway, after the pictures were posted on a blog, news spread quickly that the pair were on the island and fans came out of the woodwork trying to catch a glimpse. What a way to ruin a perfectly good holiday--this is when I do feel badly for them, their lives will never be the same. A store vendor near Ventnor said that "All the young girls have been trying to find him, they have been out on a hunt." That sounds really scary--stay in side R-Patz!
A Ventnorblogger, Sally Perry, says that "Well-known artists and musicians have found that they can live normal lives in Ventnor, away from the media glare," she said. "So others tend to follow suit by choosing our lovely town for their special getaways."
Celebrities like Amy Winehouse, Kate Moss, and Russel Brand have all visited the island for a crack at a normal life.
