Did Gather ever get the CVS gift card problem fixed? I was going to order one for my son but thought I would make sure things were OK with them first.
If you got one that was not activated did Gather get back to you and let you know why?

We have heard from members who recently received CVS gift cards that their cards were not activated. We are so sorry this has happened!
Once previously we received a batch of gift cards from CVS that were not activated and we were able to resolve this directly with CVS and did not have to replace gift cards. That is what we are working on right now with CVS.
We have sent CVS each of the unique gift card numbers (from the back of the cards) for the batch of gift cards we received from them that were never "activated". We are waiting to hear back from CVS with news that they have activated all of the cards. We have contacted CVS multiple times this week, but their dept that handles this must be closed for the week. It looks like we will not be able to resolve this until Monday. Thanks again for your patience!
they are still worthless.
they have a balance but you cant use them unless you manually enter the numbers but its against CVS's policy to manully enter the numbers from a card.
