Happy New Year From Naples

Happy New Year to all my friends and family around the world, to all my wonderful gather friends and to Team gather.

Today has been a day-long celebration for my family. We have made the trip across Florida to Naples on Florida's west coast. The kids and I walked to the beach, spent hours in the pool, and we had a quick dinner in the moonlight on the beach, before we watched the fireworks over the Naples pier together with many other tourists and Naples locals.

 

The fireworks were great, the company phenomenal, and the atmostphere was spectacular.

I wish you all the best for the New Year, and I hope that 2010 will bring you all lots of love, joy and happiness.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you, we still have 3 hours to wait! We are spending the evening at home with the kids! We haven't gone out on New Year's Even since before Chandler was born!

Nothing so fun as you all! I just got off work at the Blue Belle Inn. It is 25 below zero wind chill. I did look up at the "blue moon" as I walked home, but not for long!

Happy New Year - I spent this evening reading stories to my son, then watching the ball drop on my laptop while laying in bed with a kid on either side snoozing :)

Happy New Year! Naples is one of my favorite cities! It is gorgeous there! We've had a very quiet evening at home, our son came for dinner and I'm going to read until it turns 2010 here!

Happy New Year! Those are fantastic shots!

We had our first "Family Night" and tonight we did board games. Elliott chose Candy Land. I ended up spending the evening alone, as Matt fell asleep early and of course the boys were asleep. Even the dogs are snoozing. I didn't watch the ball drop, I did the Wii Fit instead. :)

We are having a quiet evening at home. My husband had to get up at 4am for work, so he has been in bed for hours already!

Nice shots of the fireworks-I had hoped for some shots, but there was less around here this year and we stayed home/ But I got some great Holiday Light shots at the Botanical Garden.

We had errands to run yesterday but were home by 8. :) Elliott napped in the car, so he was able to stay up until midnight, but just barely. We rang in the new year when the ball dropped (we're in central time zone) thinking he would be asleep by midnight. He was still awake, though, so we rang it again at midnight. lol He was in bed by 1205, and asleep within 10 minutes, though.

We picked up Chinese food on the way home from running errands, so we got to just relax and watch a movie before switching over to watch the Times Square stuff. It was a great New Year's Eve for us. :)
