Yesterday I was on facebook and there was a poll about trusting the government with health care. Basically your choices were Yes, NO, and maybe.
Not a big deal I voted my stance, and then I went to read some of the comments.
I got about a page down and this was what I read (close to the way I'm saying it)
"I don't trust any black person"
One line.
I had to stop and read it a second and third time just to make sure I read it right.
Its people like this that give the impression that we are all 'racist' whether we are racist or not.
Its people like this who truly are racist. But yet everyone who is 'conservative' gets lumped into the same category as the person who wrote the comment.
And there were several comments in response to him, and there were many dislikes to his comment.
What people fail to see is that its not the man, its not who he is it's what he is that bothers me, and other people. And that is he, Obama, appears to be a socialist. Someone pushing a socialist agenda. Just as Bush did his final years in office, push a socialist agenda, force spending, etc etc etc. I don't hate Obama at all. I can't hate someone I don't know. I can, however, not like his actions, the policies that he forces on us as Americans.
While there are many who support him and his policies, it doesn't matter to me, I have yet to see a lot of things that I could get behind and support because he goes against so much of what I stand for personally.
The person who made the above comment was truly racist, and I ripped into him/her along with several others.....
It just irks me off because of a few people (the minority of the minority) all of us get lumped into the same category!

Most conservatives that I know have no hate for anyone. They do, however, dislike the programs and policies of this President and this Congress, as do I.

I Once knew a black man who said he didn't trust white men. Does that make him Racist?
Even if you believe that all conservatives are racists (I don't), that still doesn't mean that all racists are conservatives.
If the author had said "I don't trust any liberals, or any socialists, or any communists, or any men, or any conservatives", would that be a more acceptable exclamation of prejudice?

I am a conservative, I do not hate anyone! I do dislike what the current barry is doing with our country, everyday, if you hunt long enough you will find something he has done or passed right under our noses and they tried to keep every single move quiet just as if we are a stupid bunch of idiots and we wouldn't understand, I for one am sick and tired of it.
Why not tell the barry about the Detroit terrorist until 3 hours later? Was everyone afraid because he told everyone not to bother him while he was spending our tax money?? Why did he not talk about it for 3 days?? Did we (the ones paying for there vacation) mess up another of there vacations??
Sorry Mooch, I got off topic for a minute there, but they love always bringing up that race card (because of this few) and yes there are a few....very few that feel as this person does...it is sad to say the least.
