Ex-lesbian Must Return Child to Lesbian Lover

As if things couldn't get more confusing, a woman who has renounced being a lesbian gave birth to a child through artificial insemination.  The birth mother has renouced being a lesbian and taken off with the child she gave birth to 7 years ago, but a Vermont judge has ordered the child be returned to the other woman who is still a lesbian, and the adoptive parent of the child.

There are too many twists and turns for me, but it would seem the reason the judge has ruled against the born again ex-lesbian is because she left with the child.  There needs to be a custody hearing. 

What a mess.

It isn't that bad K K, I don't have so many people to buy presents for at Christmas or so many dates to remember, birthday, anniversary etc.

what matter if one is lebian or not,, it just a custody issue

You would think that the mother who shares DNA with the Child would have more say than the mother who has no genetic connection with the child.

I think the effects of having 2 moms instead of a mom and a dad, will show in around 20 years. May not be any affect for a daughter, but as for a son...not having a father causes issues. There are always exceptions but the majority have multiple problems including issues with authority, treatment of women, etc etc etc. Having a father in the home to teach the son how to act, talk, behave, fight, not fight, etc... is REALLY important.

No its not that important. What is important is that a child has loving parents in the home that care for and know what that child is doing. I see alot of kids with fathers that teach the kids nothing more than how to wind up in jail.

We have so many screwed up kids these days, but to have two loving parents is so important even skipping the lesbian deal. A house with two parents is what's important. This child will suffer. It's sad. I want to know what the judge is thinking on this one.

I read that she has since disappeared.
That Virgina courts ruling contradicts the other court ruling.

The person that she is supposed to be returned to has NO ties what-so-ever with her legally.
This whole case is BS.

I read about this. I think the woman is going to lose custody all together as she seems to not be in compliant with the court's ruling. I hope this child is going to be ok in spite of all this mess.

This is crazy! I think the child should be with the birth mother, no matter what her sexual orinatation.
