Abstinence programs seen as at risk
Proponents of sex education classes that focus on encouraging teenagers to remain virgins until marriage are hoping that the rescue plan for the nation's health-care system will also save their programs, which are facing extinction because of a cutoff of federal funding.

Abstinence only programs were the most idiotic and dangerous approach to STD prevention and pregnancy prevention that ever appeared in schools. Time they were GONE!

Something between the extremes would be nice.

I didn't have abstinence only sex-ed, I didn't have people pushing me. I knew what I was going to do, and I knew what I was not going to do. I turned out JUST FINE!
