Since we don't have a chimney the boys discussed how Santa would make his way into our home. After discussion several different options, they came to the conclusion that Santa must have come in through the central air conditioning system, so I guess it is a good thing we have the A/C off.
The boys were very happy to see that Santa did in fact come by last night. My three-year-old declared "See Mommy, I have been a good boy!" I guess he had actually been a bit doubtful.
I'm happy to say that Santa is very much alive at our house, but I fear that this is the last year that my oldest son is a believer.
He already told me that some of the kids at school had told him that Santa did not exist, but he definitely did not believe them (This year).
The boys did find out that Santa doesn't like soy milk, so they have decided to put out the cow milk next year, but the cookies were almost gone.

The boys opened the presents in their stockings this morning, but the once under the tree will have to wait until this even after Christmas Eve dinner and dancing around the Christmas tree.

We are about to make Sugar cookies, and then it is time to start cooking for tonight.
Did your presents arrive under the tree yet?
Merry Christmas to all of you and your families!

Santa comes to our house tonight assuming Elliott behaves better today than he did yesterday. :)
There are already presents under the tree at my house, from us. Yesterday I wrapped upstairs for a while before Elliott got up, and decided to just leave them upstairs and see if Elliott would bother them. He did really well until I went downstairs last night to wrap more presents. He was supposed to be helping Daddy make cookies for Santa and instead took off into the living room to see if he could find the Wiggle movie that he knew was under the tree somewhere. He opened 2 other movies and a Wii game before finding it, so now he has to earn each of those 4 presents back one a day, and if he opens any today, Santa might not stop by our house tonight.
My Elliott opened one of his birthday presents, but I caught him before he saw what it was and took it away. We had a long talk, and I told him if he opens any of his Christmas presents that were slowly appearing under the tree that we will give them away to boys and girls that don't have any.
He didn't even touch them until my husband got down there last night and started shaking them. (he's the big kid in our family) Elliott almost started to unwrap one, but he put it back very quickly when he saw my face.
Santa will come to our house tonight, and we will leave out milk and cookies and something for the reindeer too. I thought when I was little we left carrots for them, but apparently here they sprinkle reindeer food (dry oatmeal and glitter) on the lawn.
Merry Christmas!
I really don't want to waste my oatmeal, or fool with glitter. :)
I think the 'magic of it all'
is what entances the little ones!
May You and Your Family Have a Wonderful "Merry Christmas" and a Blessed New Year!
We have all of our presents under the tree already. Tonight our daughter will get to open 1 present, then we will open the rest on Christmas morning. I'm going to make some cinnamon rolls to have for breakfast tomorrow...yummY & easy for me to make on a busy morning!
I wish that Santa still came 'round here, but that is okay, I will keep him in my heart. If he came down the chimney he would probably scare Murphy anyway. He is afraid of the Zhu Zhu pet, so I am thinking that Santa would be too much.
Merry Christmas and give your beautiful boys a hug from me:)
My mom has two chimneys, so Santa has choices, lol!
There are family gifts under the tree, so far, and more will 'arrive' later tonight. We'll also be exchanging gifts with my brother's family tonight. Yay! :)
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas - your tree is beautiful :)
