Adam Lambert Appears on the Jay Leno Show

Adam Lambert appeared on the Jay Leno show tonight after shocking the world and ABC Â when he passionately kissed a band member.Â Â ABC canceled Adam Lambert's appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live, as he was to appear December 17, and again canceled him from appearing on Good Morning America.Â and Chris BrownÂ appeared in his place.

Adam Lambert says he worked at Starbucks as a teen.Â Adam Lambert and Jay Leno talked about gettingÂ 'safe plucked."Â

Adam Lambert discussed the contraversy and Adam Lambert admits he surprised ABC because he did some different things on the rehearsal, so he doesn't blame ABC.

He also said, he didn't make his own make-up line, and the other rumor by Bill O'Reilly, that Adam Lambert's father is mad at him, but Adam Lambert denies that rumor.Â Adam gets along fine with both his parents.Â

He has a new CD, "For Your Entertainment."

Rolling Stone announced Adam voted as #1 artist of the year. Billboard announced Adam's CD " For Your Entertainment voted as #6 0r #8 album ot 2009. Jay and his audience loved Adam. (As had done Letterman, Ellen,Chelsea and all of he ladies of The View- who- thought the hoopla about the AMA performance was laughable.) Adam must have high vibration aura, besides being the most outstanding new singer/perfoming artist in decades and his talent recognized as outstanding across the board by the entire recording industry. Gutsy honest, poised, articulate, naive but intelligent, Adam is also a pleasure to watch in interviews. His name alone gets readers (hello,Kent,it does, huh?If Adam Lambert's name is mentioned it gets attention, his fans are obsessed, his foes are addicted- they all come-no one can ignore Adam.

How did he get to be acclaimed when he just released his first song??? He's a made celebrity/singer/whatever

I don't think there's any excuse for lewd conduct. He kept saying all the uproar was because he is gay. Not so, if he's a good singer he doesn't need to be controversial and raunchy. It doesn't belong on TV.
I think he's backed down a lot from the stuff he said that night after the AMA performance.
He needs to be smart & savvy about the record buying public. He turned many people off and he sure needs good advisors around him to make him realize that he better know who his audience is and whether they will tolerate his antics.
If his voice & talent is real he doesn't need to be screaming his lyrics and shoving his
lack of respect down people's throats (no pun intended)

A large segment of Adam's fanbase were not shocked by his performance, and really didn't see anything wrong with it. Also, he gained a lot of fans because of his performance ... fans who, probably, more than made up for the fans he lost.

So ... who isn't? Do you actually think people are BORN stars? Most of them get to the top by working at their craft until someone notices them. Some get noticed early. Some don't. Who cares how they get there ... as long as they get there?

Well, Linda, getting there and maintaining your integridy, in this case, are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

The AMA's were raunchy from almost the beginning. Whe a group of dancers were doing the "dirty deed" w/o a partner was when I turned it off. There is dancing and there is lewd dancing...
I like Adam and wish him well - however, his actions are not for TV unless that's what people want TV to turn into.
I say take it to a whorehouse and that audience will eat it up. For myself, I will not watch the AMA's again. In fact, I rarely watch TV anyhow.
