A young mother I'm friends with absolutely LOVES magazines and I save all of my old ones for her. I decided to treat her to a subscription of Good Housekeeping. I ordered the subscription which won't start arriving for 6-8 weeks. I went to the store and purchased the January issue, and then I went to the dollar store and purchased a wine box decorated for Christmas ($2) I rolled up the magazine with an attached note stating I'd purchased a subscription for her, and sealed it in the wine tote. On the outside I tied a ribbon with cookie cutters attached (also dollar store finds for 50 cents each) and added a gift tag.
