The winter storm that hit the eastern part of the US on Friday evening continues to stop progress in West Virginia. As of 11 PM last night there were still over 2,000 homes without power in our county. Schools are still closed. We live in an area that is used to large storms. The people are used to diving in snow covered roads but this storm just came so fast that it was impossible to get driveways cleared to even get out.
I live in West Virginia. Three days after the storm, many roads are still impassible. I went out in the front yard and took a few photos after my husband shoveled paths to the coal house, rabbit pens and the garage. He also shoveled the driveway out. These photos were taken today. We received over 2 feet of snow and that is not in the drifts.
It is snowing now again.

This is the front yard. Keep in mind this is three days after the bulk of the storm hit.

My dog could not even get off the porch until my husband made him a path. It was too deep.

These shots are of the road in front of our home. They have already been plowed but still solid sheet of ice.

Our Back Yard.

The snow is up above my knees. Here is my dog enjoying the paths that Roger shoveled for him.

take care in this weather.
You be careful shoveling that snow. Stay warm. Are they calling for more snow in your area?
as for shoveling snow, i am done with it after yesterday. my arm is really sore, lol. made it hard to haul hay, clean stalls and other chores after shoveling so much.
Please be careful. It is snowing here again now but not very much.
LOL That is a depressing thought. LOL
You can view it HERE.
Congratulations!
Don't forget to use a roof shovel to get the snow off of your roof's!
