TROPICAL FLOWERS - Christmas Gift - Photo Calendar

A great Christmas gift for anyone on your list who loves flowers and gardening and appreciates photo art. This one I designed for my mom, a photo calendar of tropical flower images.

In an earlier post I showed you my calendar Images of Bavaria I'm giving as a Christmas present with pretzels and beer to a couple of my favorite guys:) 

The printing company even mailed it directly to my mom in Germany, great for people like me who tend to procrastinate.

I chose to have the flowers printed against a black background, to avoid visual clutter.

I chose the images with my mom in mind. I also made a couple calendars for my friends using a few different images, plus some of my colorful digital art photos that I enjoy creating.

These photos are just awesome. This looks like it came from a professional. You could probably sell these in gift shops if you could figure out how to market them! Just beautiful. I am sure your mom will love it!

Absolutely gorgeous! I'm assuming, though, that you also have an actual month-by-month calendar to go with these photos? ;-)

Yes, I had a professional calendar printed on a black background (on art paper) and I was happy to see that since it is an international site, they gave me the choice of European holidays!

My mom lives in Germany and wouldn't be happy with the
American or Canadian holidays:)

Tory, my mom is very hard to please. I made a calendar for my mom a couple of years back, when I began taking my first macros, but she didn't care for it, because it looked too homemade and she picked the images apart, because they didn't look professional enough (which they didn't):) - my intent had been to share my garden with her.

So, this year I found a site that prints and sells internationally, with European holidays in their calendar if you want and had them print it on art paper and ship the calendar directly to her.
So I hope, considering that my photography has improved a great deal since then too, that she will not find anything to criticize this time around:)
