I AM a product of all the information I Gather daily from the internet ,and I just want to thank all of you for your educational e-mails over the past year. I am totally screwed up now and have little chance of recovery!!!

For instance :  Motel and hotel problems

 

I can't use the remote in a hotel room because I don't know what the last
person was doing while flipping through the adult movie channels.

I can't sit down on the hotel bedspread because I can only imagine what has
happened on it since it was last washed.

My tree is up and most presents have been bought. That's about as good as it gets. I've been working like crazy lately. It's always that was this time of year. :-(

~Sheesh~ and to think for Christmas I was going to ask you to join me at a super deluxe sleazy hotel room with a hot tub, dirty movie channel on the TV and a Magic Fingers box (I'd even supply the quarters) on the bed~guess I'll just send you a fruitcake instead, what's your address?

Well, gee, now, I don't know, I'd wonder if the 'eeewwww' would be directed at me or the less than stellar conditions in the $39.95/hour room I could afford to spring for, but I would bring Lysol and Febreze though, along with a roll of quarters.

Sometimes its better to just shut your eyes and plunge forward. Otherwise you'll never get anywhere (like Louisiana!)

There's somthing to be said for taking along your own tent and camping. You know when you last washed your bedding, and you don't have to worry about that stale hotel room air. Seriously though, I have learned one thing on the web that has me take serious notice-and that is ....ladies, where has your purse been sitting? You go to an event and set it it on the floor, or go to the store and set in in a shopping cart, and then you go home and set in on your bed...and do you ever clean the bottom of it where it sits in all these places? I do now!

You learn a lot on gather, BUT IN my experience the high price don't mean clean. I paid for a high price room and got dirty sheets , filthy bedspread, and paid extra for a couch that made a bed for my daughter, when we opened it up Yuck, all kind of things.

the cheap rooms were spotless. Never judge a book by its cover.
