This morning Cincinnati Bengals player Chris Henry passed away. Chris Henry has definitely made some mistakes in his career, but, hey in this day and age, what celebrity hasn't? He was, however, reportedly getting his life back on the right track. Unfortunately, he was cut short in the attempt when his life ended unexpectedly this morning.
Charlotte police are still investigating, however, right now it seems that he died after trying to jump onto a moving pick up truck. It seems that he was trying to stop his fiancee from fleeing a "domestic situation" at her parents home. She was driving the truck.
At a press conference held this afternoon, Bengals Quarterback Carson Palmer had this to say: "It's a very sad day for our team, for our organization, for Bengals fan. Chris was a guy who I believe, and our team believes, was heavily misunderstood." Both the Owner and the Head Coach of the Cincinnati Bengals expressed how much time was invested in Chris Henry as a person.
This is certainly a sad event, and a great reminder that life is short. I feel extremely sorry for the fiancee. I can't imagine what she must be feeling right now. My heart goes out to her and the rest of his family.
