Robert Pattinson has been voted MTV’s #6 Man of the Year. Is it just me, or is anyone surprised that the man who seemed to define the MTV generation, for 2009 at least, didn’t get a higher spot? He took over the tabloids and New Moon was one of the most anticipated films and biggest box office takeovers of the year. Not only has he swooned teen girls, but suburban housewives as well.

Who could possibly beat him out? Will it be Taylor Lautner? It’s not Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Drake or Eminem who won #5, #7, #8 and #9 respectively. On Friday, we'll find out who's more of a "man" than Robert Pattinson, according to MTV.
