Quaker Chewy Oat Granola Bars
Fiber & Omega-3

Sassy is not a fan of granola
bars, but when something is new and on sale, she's a sucker for it. 
These Quaker Fiber & Omega-3 Granola bars, regularly priced $3.55,
were on sale for $2.25.  A 6.1 ounce box contains 5 bars.  Have you
noticed most of the granola bar boxes have downsized from 6 to 5?

Available in only two varieties:

  • Peanut Butter Chocolate
  • Dark
    Chocolate Chunk

Each bar contains 9g of fiber and I'm glad to
see that is not from chicory root.  The flax seed in these provides
320mg of ALA Omega-3.  150 calories per bar, 45 of those from fat.

I purchased the peanut butter
chocolate bars.  These taste okay.  There didn't seem to be an abundance
of peanut butter flavor to them.  And not a lot of chocolate either.

Hmm... I don't buy granola bars very often. I think the ones that I buy still have six-to-a-box. I'll have to check the next time I'm in the store.

I got a freebie granola bar today (different brand) that tasted like nothing. Not bad, not good, just... nothing. I'll have to do a review. ;)

I've been into the nature valley granola nut clusters. They're really pricey, but I love them.

There's only one brand we buy and we like them for a sweet treat at times. I forget the name but recognize the box. My husband had one of these and didn't like it.

I like granola, especially the cereals, and have tried several kinds of bars as well; some better than others. Sometimes I break them up into hot oatmeal too, lol. If the price was right I might try these.

I like these, but they sure aren't very filling. I always pour a really tall glass of milk to go with one when I eat it.

(And I NEVER buy them full price but on sale and with a coupon).

There are no copyright concerns when you take a photo of a product yourself, and do not use the product to imply an endorsement.

I've noticed the bars are getting smaller and the number in the box is getting lower and the price stays the same. I quite honestly say there isn't a granola bar that I've eaten I didn't like. I usually just buy whats on sale when the spirit moves me.

Interesting people are watching for copyright violations. There are so many thieves here on Gather and now so many social writers that post copyrighted news photos with permission from Gather to do so, I just don't give a damn anymore.

I love your stuff and know (as everyone should) that you take your own photos.
