President Obama sat down with Oprah for her ABC special Christmas at the White House where she asked him what grade he would give himself for his first year in office. President Obama responded that he would give himself a B+, not for things that are done, but for all the things that are undone. I think that he is truly a smart man, and with the support and willingness he needs from Congress he can truly turn America around; without the support it will be a constant tug-o-war, which will not get anyone anywhere.
When America elected him into office, we thought we were getting an A President, which even he knows is not so. To give Obama credit and A rating as a President is almost impossible, especially when you have take the place of a failing President. Like he says, his administration has "inherited the biggest set of challenges of any president since Franklin D. Roosevelt." Listen to him explain his reasoning...
After listening to his resoning do you think Obama deserves a B+? Why?

True, Obama and the current legislature did inherit a very large set of problems. But so did Bush. And Clinton. And Bush. And Reagan, and Carter, and Ford... The problem is they're applying the same failed solutions and expecting different results: spend more money, impose higher taxes and restrictions... and when our insane policies don't produce the promised reform? Blame the opposition.
Sorry, but that sort of insanity doesn't rate anything above a generous F minus.
