Accident

Well, our roads were extremely icy this morning but Sunday is hubby's big day at work.  He didn't make it.  He and his car slid into a guard rail right before the exit that took him to the main road that was closed due to ice anyway.

What a bummer right before Christmas.  I hope it doesn't cost too much.  I'm not going to turn it into insurance due to the rates rising.  We'll get it fixed in time. 

The good news is that Chris is not hurt at all.

I'm sooooo grateful he is not hurt!!

Bummer...one of my kids got stuck 6 blocks up the hill last night because of ice. The people she was babysitting for just brought most of the way home in their 4-wheel drive...her car is still up there. Poor other daughter had to walk home from work at 9 pm...but at least we have no dented cars! That's the pits. Hope it doesn't cost much.

OH, I am so very sorry Danielle!!! Why do the bad things happen to good people?? I am so glad that Chris is safe though...it could have been so much worse!! The roads here are not too great at this point either. Wondering if we will have school tomorrow.

If things have come to such a sorry pass right at the start of Christmas celebrations, then I believe that God wanted to try your strength. Surely, those who place their trust in His Love nad Mercy, will never be disappointed. So too, it is a consolation to know that he was not hurt. Well, things will be alright for you henceforward and you have my continued prayers that God may safeguard you through the fag end of 2009 and God's love and blessings shower on you for the years to come.

We read in the paper today that two people were killed on the roads yesterday morning. One near where Chris had his accident!! I am so grateful he is alive.

Ice can be there and you dont relize it. thankful no one was hurt.
