Harry Potter

As a birthday present for myself and eventually for my kids to view, I got the newest Harry Potter DVD, 'The Half Blood Prince'

I have been going through the bonus features and am enjoying the way they are letting the actors who play the students be the guides for the different sections. Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy, does a section where he asks some of the students of Hogwarts about some of their favorite things.

It got me thinking ...

Who is your favorite character in the Harry Potter movie series. If you want, pick a regular character who is in most or all of the movies, and one who appears in only one or 2 of them (how many will pick Robert Patterson best known as Edward in Twilight)???

I like Hermione, Ron and Harry in that order. Also like Nevile and Luna.

I find the books unreadable, but the movies are good - I like Dumbledore the best

I cheated with the books, I got audiobooks and listened to them. I don't know if that made them easier to read or not, but I enjoy them that way.

I think that Ron is my favorite regular character as I can see his point of view on some things. I grew up in a large family and usually was a supporting factor rather then the one out front.
I like Luna as my favorite lesser character. The way she does what she wants and doesn't worry about what others think, and how she thinks totally different then the rest of the world.

Hermione is a fiercely loyal friend,which is why she be my fav. Why Harry aint noticed her yet as a woman has me stumped.

At first you may have thought so (the first 2 books/movies) but then it became obvious that she and Ron were going to have the relationship, not her and Harry. And from the start Ginny had eyes on Harry.

That is true.she and ron should be together. Those that harry knows are not his equal, and probably woud be so drawn to one who was his equal.
