A favorite song, and this is a great rendition. When my kids had their first communion, this was the song the kids sang.

Strange that you should post this tonight. I just saw the movie "Corirna, Corrina" a day or two ago on TV with Ray Liotta & Whoopie Goldberg, & they played that song at the end.

Bizarre, you'd think they would have played "Corrine Corrina" by the Mississippi Sheiks (the original version,) or the covers by Cab Calloway or Joe Turner.

How cool it was to have "folk music" back in the day. I used to go to a great folk club in Birmingham and then Soputhfiled, MI called The Raven Gallery, and The Ark in Ann Arbor. It was truly wonderful to hear music performed live in a small club atmosphere.

Elizabeth, this is the best tune! I'll have to write a story for you about This Little Light of Mine. I've loved the song since I was a little girl...good grief that was many, many suns ago.
