Angels, Roses and Jasmine

I read once that Rose and Jasmine were the fragrances that the angels loved.  And, that by lighting candles or incense in your home in these aromas that you would attract more angels around you and your house.    I don't know if that is really true or not, but it is fun to think it is.  I'm pretty sure the author of the book believed it.

Jasmine has been nicknamed 'Queen of the Night' and 'Moonlight of the Grove'; for centuries, women have treasured it for its seductive, beautiful fragrance.  Jasmine oil is uplifting and stimulating for times of hopelessness and nervous exhaustion. It helps reduce anxiety and apathy.

And, being that I want Rose and Jasmine oil, they happen to be two of the most expesive essential oils.

I love sweet smells like berries. I also love Hawaiian Ginger anything.

I do love rose, jasmine and lavender but I also really enjoy citrus scents and bergamot, which is derived citrus fruit trees. How about you Sherry, do you have a favorite?

Jamine is very special for me. When I was little I used to visit Grandma in summer and her yard was full of them, At night, the fragrance used to drift into the bedroom through the open window. I still cherish that smell as a sweet memory of my childhood. Thanks for this lovely post!

Rose, lavender and jasmine.

Nothing like a night blooming jasmine during the summer.

My grandmother had a huge lilac bush and the fragrance was wonderful.

I do love the fragrance of jasmine outdoors. But when we had our orange back in S. Cal., it also was very fragrant when in full blossom. We are trying to grow oranges here, but the climate isn't really right for it.
