I always thought that this song and its video were very thought provoking. Michael may have been a bit of a kook but he was far from stupid and knew what was going on in this world. I always liked this video, altho' I was never a huge fan of his later work. I really loved Michael when he was a child in the Jackson 5, when he was supposedly being beaten by his dad and he was really unhappy. I was a child at the time and loved watching them on tv, thinking that they were so lucky to be a family and to have such talent and to be seen by all. Who knew what was going on at that time? It definitely had an effect on him as an adult.

We all watched the Jackson 5 and had absolutely no idea what was happening in that family. They are each so talented and troubled. Michael has always been a fantastic musician and, like you, not all of it is to my taste. However, I can appreciate his contribution to the music business. Michael Jackson was truly one of a kind.

Even though Michael changed a whole lot the last 20 years or so, I always greatly admired his work as an entertainer...the person, I wasn't so sure of....I always loved this video and the way it moves anyone who watches it.
