Obama, on the other hand, has that community organizer thing about which he can boast. Oh yeah, and two books that he supposedly wrote.

And, Sharon, the bailout could have been handled properly if Obama wasn't so bent on paying back people for the votes he got from them instead of helping the economy. Let's not forget that it was not Bush who created this financial mess we're in.

What a joke....Yes, I definitely want someone who had to attend college at least six different colleges before she could get a degree in journalism, who worked as a sportscaster for a few months, and who helped her husband in his part-time business. Perhaps you don't remember that he worked for an oil company and was on a leave of absence at the time of the election. Convenient, huh?

My uncle is one of the middle Repubs and he was never so disgusted with McCain when he picked Palin and he is even more disgusted now that factions of the Republicans are still supporting her. He wont vote for her and I imagine there are many, many more like him out there.

Palin is popular now, but when it comes down to it- whoever runs against her is going to use her quitting her position as gov. of Alaska.

Her populist position is shallow at best when it comes down to the issues, she will be torn to shreds.

IF she is going to have ANY sort of chance - she had better make her position on the economy clear, offer a solid plan to stimulate job growth and fix healthcare and not just parrot the right wing talking points

If Obama fails we need strong leaders who think outside the Washihgton box and stand up to special interest and enemies who want to undermine our national security.

If Palin were ever to be elected to any national office, I think I'd definitely move out of this country. That would be the breaking point. It would prove that the American people had totally abdicated their minds, their wills, their intelligence, their common sense and their futures to the media and minority wacko machines. That would be it...done...nada..adios, schmucks. Wallow in your own deteriorating stupidity until you bring yourselves all down.

Sarah Palin and Obama would not, and do not make good presidents because they are polarizing being from the far side of their parties, we need a centrist.

I could not imagine having a president who quit her job as governor. That shows a lack of intergrity, maturity and responsibility. I am not a Democrat nor a Republican, just a citizen. Due to Palin's popularity I think the intelligence of the citizens is not overestimated. What would Palin do as Pres if the going got tough? Quit? I was not impressed with Palin's performance of the VP debate. I do not support her because she fired a libarian who refused to ban a book of which Palin did not approve.

There are people I would like to censor ~ such as Howard Stern ~ but if I go against the Constitution's guarantee of liberty, by trying to censor others, someone might decide to censor, oh, Alice Walker or J. D. Salinger. Each time we deny other citizens freedom we open ourselves up to having a freedom we enjoy taken from us.

The other reason I do not favor Palin is that she took office as Mayor when Wasela had a balanced budget and left a large deficeit when her term was over. We have enough elected officials who do not understand basic economics to put even more in office.
