Have you ever heard of Forensic Astrology?
It's just as it sounds: using the venerable art of Astrology as a lens through which to consider a crime. After hearing of the guilty verdicts in the Amanda Knox trial late Friday evening I decided to set up the charts for the event of November 1, 2007 and see what was going on using Astrology's As Above, So Below principle.
Ms. Knox's former boyfriend, Rafaelle Solliceto was convicted as well and received a 25 year sentence; Ms. Knox received 26 years for the murder of her roommate, Meredith Kercher in their Perugia, Italy apartment where they resided as foreign exhange students.
Police reports have given the murder as occurring between 8:30 pm and 11:00 pm so these are the times I used to set up the horoscopes. One of the more useful features of my Solar Fire software is the ability to Animate Charts so that in real time one can watch the planets and house cusps proceed in their courses - in this case, from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm on Nov 1, 2007 - in Perugia.
Significators of violence are typically easy to spot in an Astrology chart: testosterone-laden Mars, mythically the god of war, instigator of quarrels, and ruler of sharp instruments; powerful subversive and often assasin, Pluto, the death-dealer, and in myth, the god of the Underworld; lady Venus who can turn vengeful when jealous or scorned, Moon signfies 'a woman' and on another level, the physical body, and so on.
Aspects, the angular relationships between planets (which are the 'actors' in a chart) tell of obstacles (squares = 90 degrees), stand-offs (oppositions = 180 degrees); plus, the concentrated energy of conjunctions (0 degrees) are major facets of any picture. Timing is a key ingredient and may be gleaned in part from whether an aspect is waning (separating) or waxing (applying.)
In fact, that is the element which Astrology brings to the table which no other system brings: timing. That's why knowing the time frame window was important for narrowing things down.
With a violent event chart, a good example of a planetary actor is Mars, that November 2007 night in Cancer (which is a contentious placement for Mars since Cancer is ruled by the emotional Moon - Moon/Mars contacts and signatures can be very moody with a hair-trigger temper.) Mars usually represents a male between the ages of 25 to 35, give or take a year or two either way.
Yet generally speaking, astrological Mars represents the action principle and the desire nature in any chart, so the gender/age caveat may be relaxed is some cases especially since females have Mars functions, too. Otherwise we ladies would be unable to physically move!
So as you see, if you didn't already know, there are many factors involved in studying an event using Forensic Astrology, and I admit to being only a mere novice at it. The branch is a very time consuming practice so it isn't often IÂ find time to study crime charts given my Political Astrology pursuits. (Unless, like me, you consider Politics to be primarily a crime as it's currently perpetrated.)
Yet I confess that discovering the time frame for this tragic murder, the 8:30 - 11:00 pm window, was intriguing and compelled me to study the chart/s so I cordially invite you to read the result of my conclusions, if you wish.
Now I realize that you may not give credence to Astrology, that's up to you - I'm not here to debate its merits. Either you're open-minded or you're not. Actually, I shunned it for years before trying it and finding it a useful tool and language. I earned that yes, the universe is based on As Above, So Below: but planetary energies compel, they do not override free will.

Michelle and Jo are Friends of Amanda Knox who pop up everywhere she's mentioned to put the defense side of things.
They'll tell you the prosecutor is wacky, the Italians are corrupt/medieval/incompetent/liars, etc.
The timeline above is wishful thinking. They were convicted on plenty of evidence, the trial was fair and declared so by not only Amanda, but the US Embassy observers, too, who had access to files and attended every court session.
I repeat, the timeline above takes enormous liberties with the truth.

Knox' family hired a PR agency before they even engaged her lawyers. They have managed to influenced the reporting, filling it with outright lies (shocking, really). he sites Ive listed above are the best sources.
Don't expect the convictions to be overturned at appeal. The evidence is strong, the jury's verdict unanimous.
