Tim Tebow crying made sports enthusiasts around the world speak up with mixed opinions. Some watchers felt Tim Tebow crying was babyish while others thought it showed his dedication to football. But why was Tim Tebow crying and what does it have to do with Bible verse John 16:33?
The Tim Tebow crying moment was caused by the Florida Gators loss to Alabama Crimson Tide in yesterday's SEC Championship game. With one minute left in the game and a score of 32-13, Tim Tebow started crying.
Watchers commented even John 16:13 could not prevent the Tim Tebow from crying. Tim Tebow is know for writing a Bible verse in the black under his eyes before a game. For this game, he used John 16:13 which reads as follows:
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
It seems those tribulations caught up to this Florida University player, as evidenced by the Tim Tebow crying moment. Do you think he will find peace even though he will not get to be in another National Championship with the Florida Gators?
Tim Tebow actually did well during the game, throwing a total of 247 yards. What do you feel about a football player like Tim Tebow crying after his team loses?

I think he is a man not afraid to express his profound disappointment in something that was so very important to him. Kudos for him not caring what others think.
Maybe he had a lot of money bet on this game and the outcome was not in his favor. LOL Some people hide their true nature behind Bible scriptures. Or --- maybe he was just sad that they are such a crummpy team and he thought God let him down. Uh, someone needs to tell him that God is no respector of persons and really doesn't have a favorite football team. God loves all of them equally. How they play is up to the team players.
Maybe he cried because his team didn't overcome in this game. I'm still guessing that he had a lot of money bet on the game and lost. (my guess only)
unashamedly admitted that yes, he is a virgin; and who goes on mission trips during spring break instead of partying with his pals. And then there is his beautiful--albeit fierce--competitive spirit and tremendous ability! He has been my favorite college football player during the past three years, and while I'm glad that my team won, it was very painful for me to see Tebow in tears... (My sister called me up and said she, too, was struggling to see Tebow in such a state.) While many may disagree with his beliefs, he is the definition of dedication, and he has my complete and unfettered respect. That he would cry at the end of such a painful loss (which represented the end of his national title hopes) did not surprise me at all. It's not because I think he is immature and weak; au contraire, it is because I think he is a strong human being who embraces both joy and pain, and who is not afraid to show the world what he is feeling. Kudos to Tim on being not only an outstanding athlete, but also an amazing human being.
