The toilet paper roll

I never cared what way the toilet paper was put on the roller...all I cared about what that there was toilet paper. When I was still married that was a big issue....my ex seemed to think that the holder was magic, and that it refilled itself....heck, I was thrilled if he at least put a roll on the counter!

I've lived alone now for years...so if there is no TP it's my fault and mine alone. I really only cared that it was there when I needed it....or when I had company I didn't want them to be left without...so I have a holder in there for extra rolls....

Do yo care what way the paper goes? I never did before....Now I prefer that it's put on so the paper is on the top...not in the back...it's amazing what an issue this is to some people...if I ever do live with someone again though, i'll still mainly just care that there is some there....I can always change it to the right way....my way!

depends which side the roll is on. left or right.
All of mine are on the left side so I like the tail to the back.. I am right handed, so when I go to grab the tail my hand naturally faces up. To grab the paper off the front your hand needs to face down. which it does if the roll is located to the right. Science Laura.. Science

LOL...I just prefer it on top...but like I said as long as it's there i'm happy

When I grew up we only had cut up news paper.. and I used to do the cutting up.. So I always have a spare roll in every toilet.. I have 3 of them here in my unit. 3 bedrooms, 3 toilets and just one of me.

I prefer it to the back, I have found it just seems that you use less with it underneath. Children tend to use way to much TP so if it is a little harder to get off they will think when it rolls around once & think about the amount you may need. Also it keep those dirty hands off the clean paper because they can just pull it off. Just my opinion but that is how I feel.

The reason I put the roll on with the paper over the top is that that's the way the professionals do it. At our hospital and clinic and in most hotels, after the pros have cleaned the bathroom, the toilet paper comes over the top of the roll and is folded to a point. You can't do that with the paper dropping down the back.

I used to do cleaning at a bowling alley, and that's the way I had to do it. So i've just done it since...never gave it much thought until recently...

good post! I could go on and on about my first husband nuances.... but it'd take me at least five years of non-stop posting before I'd be done.

I don't really care about how the toilet paper thing too much; as long as some is there. :)
