Thanks so much Ann, they are a lot of fun. It becomes a challenge not to fall into the same patterns with them. More than half the battle is to try to make a cogent poem. Sometimes you know where you want to go, but there is not a word beginning with the letter you are on that will take you there. So you have to go around the idea a little. They force you to understand the nuance of at least a few of the words you choose, every time you write a new one. That's what I love about them. :-)

I'm always amazed when I read these and tell myself I should try....but then I click away to a new article....and creating the abc's of poetry is a lost thought. I do need to try this....
