WALKER, TEXAS RANGER aired on CBS is an action series about a modern day Texas Ranger who's style is more about the old west, using a mantra of "minimal necessary force" to catch the criminals of the new west.

Cordell Walker deals with criminals in lethal force if necessary, but diligently portrays a cool, collected intelligence, with a talent that can take you out in a heart beat, with his Martial Arts expertise.

Brought up by his Uncle, Ray Firewalker, a Native American, & having served in Vietnam, Walker displays his prowess by capturing anyone who breaks the law. Exciting martial arts skills & detective work is used to apprehend the lawless & makes an exciting 60 min. in entertainment.

Walker Texas Ranger ended in 2001, with the thought of continuing " Walker" on a movie of the week rotation for CBS................But only 1 movie was ever made( Walker Texas Ranger: Trail by Fire) in fall 2005....That movie ended with a cliff-hanger that saw Walker's wife( Alex Cayhill) shot in a court-room as Walker left the building. Leaving many to believe that follow up movies were coming.......Nothing ever came of it, Chuck Norris is now nearing 70, so it dosen't seem we will ever see a new Walker Texas Ranger movie....The sad thing is that the charchter never really ended, it just seems wrong that Walker Texas Ranger never really rode off into the sunset like a good cowboy should...........
