My mother called me because she knows I was having a very stressful day. I ended up taking the kids to the park while I cried my eyes out for an hour when mom called. I met her at walmart, as I had a few things to pick up. Than we went back to my sisters house where I stay. We all had lunch. Mom left and took my 9 yr old daughter with her.
A little while later the phone rang. Mom was at one of the local emergency room. I had to go pick up my daughter. I go there to see on mom to. She was grumpy and looked real tired hooked up to an IV. My daughter was happy to see me and was ready to go home.
The ER staff decided to keep mom over night but wanted to transfer to a different hospital where moms doctor attends. As they had no records of her at the hospital she was at. Currently mom has no medical insurance. So transporting her in ambulance will cost money she or I don't had. The hospital wouldn't let me transport her. Stating they don't want sued.
Once they transported mom. I went and picked up my sister. Than took her to get moms van. She drove the van and parked it at her house. Than we and the kids went to the hospital. Once we got there we found out that noone under the age of 17 was allowed in any area of the hospital. Unless they were being amitted. So, I let my sister see my mom while I was with kids in the waiting room. We she came out. She was ready to leave and we left.
She said the nurse said mom either had a mini heart attack earlier. Or started having a heart attack and the hospital stopped it when they gave her medication. Whatever it was, it was not good. I will know tomorrow more information. I know mom really wanted to go to church tomorrow. Knowing she has no medical insurance, she may get her wish.
So, if you all that believe in the power of prayer, would you please say a prayer for my mother? I would be extremely grateful.
