Happy Thanksgiving everybody! Now let's get ready for some football. Today's NFL Football TV schedule for today's three Thanksgiving Day games of the 2009 season will have you flipping channels all day. A different network will be airing each game so make sure you check out the schedule to make sure you don't miss a game. Hopefully the feast you are heading to doesn't have one of those "no TV on during at the dinner table" rules.
The day kicks off with Green Bay at Detroit as the Packers look to grab a much needed in an effort to position themselves for a playoff bid. The lowly Lions are looking to get just their third win of the season. However, they are currently on a one game winning streak as they won on the final play last week against the Browns in a battle of NFL powerhouses.
Green Bay Packers (6 - 4) @ Detroit Lions (2 - 8) - 12:30 p.m. EST on FOX
The second game of the day moves over to CBS in another mismatch. The Dallas Cowboys, who lead their division with a 7 - 3 record host the Oakland Raiders in the new Cowboys Stadium. The Raiders are in the middle of another horrendous season as they sit at the bottom of the AFC West with a 3 - 7 record. The Cowboys should roll right over the Raiders but hopefully Oakland can make it an entertaining game.
Oakland Raiders (3 - 7) @ Dallas Cowboys (7 - 3) - 4:15 p.m. EST on CBS
The final game of the day finally brings us a great game between two equally matched teams, at least on paper, as the NY Giants head to Mile High to battle the Denver Broncos. Both teams have been in a funk lately since getting off to fast starts, but the Giants finally got off the schnide with a win last week after four straight losses. The Broncos will be looking to break their current four game losing streak after getting off to a 6 - 0 start this season.
NY Giants (6 - 4) @ Denver Broncos (6 - 4) - 8:20 p.m. EST on NFL Network
So enjoy your Thanksgiving as you eat everything in sight and watch eleven straight hours of football.

NEW YORK (AP) — Brett Favre and Peyton Manning already were Pro Bowl regulars when they were selected to this season's game Tuesday.
Favre was among eight Minnesota Vikings who made the NFC team, while Manning was one of six Indianapolis Colts on the AFC squad. It will be Favre's 11th Pro Bowl and the 10th for Manning. No other quarterbacks have been to 10 all-star games and go to the nfl shop.
Favre will be a backup to New Orleans' Drew Brees, the NFL's top-rated passer. The other NFC quarterback will be Aaron Rodgers, who replaced Favre in Green Bay last year.
Tennessee running back Chris Johnson, the league's leading rusher, also made the AFC team, along with NFL receptions leader Wes Welker of New England. Manning will be backed up at quarterback by New England's Tom Brady and San Diego's Philip Rivers.
