So apparently it was not that hard to do, but that's because somebody in the Secret Service did not follow the normal rules of checking identity. It's nice that the couple that crashed the State Dinner, Tareq and Michaele Salahi, Â were not crazies intent on assassinating someone. That would have been worse than embarrassing. But no, they were not assassins, they are polo-playing Virginia socialites. Â
Mark my words, this couple will soon be doing the rounds of the talk shows, just like the balloon boy family. They also emulate the Heenes with their aspirations to get on a reality TV show, apparently. There is a third parallel- they may also be in legal trouble, because lying to the Secret Service is a felony charge.
What's up with all these goofy people hunting fame in the USA, Octomom, Balloon Boy, the Salahis? Nobody has the ability to feel shame anymore.

I imagine that the Secret Service will be doing some soul searching and some procedure revisions.
