Deviled eggs are kind of a ‘love it’ or ‘hate it’ kind of food, and I definitely fall into the ‘Love it’ category! Deviled eggs are a great appetizer to bring for holiday get-togethers and I have a recipe that is super easy to master:
What You’ll Need:
- 12 + Hard boiled eggs (depending on party size)
- 2 Tbs. Mustard
- ¼ cup of Mayonnaise
Now You’re Cooking:
- Take your hard boiled eggs and peel and cut them, lengthwise
- Take out the yoke and place them in a dish. Mash.
- Add your mayonnaise and mustard to your mashed yokes. Mix well.
- Place yoke mixture into egg whites*
- Sprinkle eggs with paprika.
o As an optional addition to Deviled Eggs Recipe you can put chopped pickles OR diced bacon over the egg yoke mixture.
- Chill until ready to be served
*There are a few ways to neatly place the yoke mixture into the egg whites. One (not-so-neat) way would be to spoon out the mixture into the eggs. The other way would be to fill a zip lock baggie with the mixture and cut a small hole in a corner of the bag. Squeeze out. The last option, would be to use a cake frosting tool.
