I wish my grandmother (going on 97 in February) was strong enough to join us (only moved to a retirement home last year.)

I would want to invite several members from Gather to be here, but I don't want to play favorites. I think I would mention Netty B., Tammie P., Karen H. for starters. I actually would like all my Gather friends to come if they could fit in the apartment and I could afford to feed them.
I am thankful that I live in such a beautiful part of the country such as San Diego with it's reasonably nice weather.
* Who will you spend Turkey Day with? my brother, his girlfriend, my niece, my sister, her boyfriend, a friend of my sisters, my newborn nephew, my mom, my boyfriend, my son, and a few random friends will be there
* What are your favorite foods to eat that day? pecan pie, turkey, squash, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes
* What activities will you take part in that day? i like to go to my brothers house early and we will chat and listen to music while we are preparing food
* Is there a special someone you wish could spend your Thanksgiving celebration with? i really wish i could have my grandparents, my father, my other brother, and his daughter my niece all join us
* Is there a special Gather member you’d invite to Thanksgiving? barbie, she is so sweet and im sure she would love to meet atticus
* Most importantly, tell us: What are you thankful for? my son atticus. he was born on november 13th he is two. i am also thankful for the house that we are living in, we do not own it but its is still so much better than all the other houses we have rented over the last 3 years (there have been about 5) we hope to stay in this one as long as possible
I am just thankful for just about everything. Life is hard for all of us. The stresses don't miss anyone, and it can get worse from there into all sorts of hardships. So I'm grateful for family, for knowing I am loved and knowing I love others. I'm grateful for the sunshine and the warmth on days when the sky is blue and bright. I'm grateful for good neighbors and for our animals. I'm particularly grateful our daughter and husband haven't taken off to parts unknown to pursue their careers and we have one more Thanksgiving and Christmas with them.
We'll be spending Thanksgiving evening with our daughter and son in law.
We'll eat the traditional Turkey meal. My favorite is the dressing and cranberry sauce.
We'll visit earlier in the day across the street and get to see the out of town company coming in.
If I could have a Thanksgiving dinner with a Gather friend, there would have to be a very large table. There's Norma and Donald, Wilma, Sheila h., Marge, Deb J., Elaine K.,Sassy Cat, Bob (ladybess) and MAGI!Might actually get a banana smoothie. And Curt and Casper and Ellie in Portland.

What are your favorite foods to eat that day? I love turkey, mash potato, gravy and fresh cranberry sauce.
What activities will you take part in that day? We usually just get together and talk.
Is there a special someone you wish could spend your Thanksgiving celebration with? I wish my youngest sister was back in Massachusetts with her family.
Is there a special Gather member you’d invite to Thanksgiving? I'd invite anyone who would be spending it alone.
Most importantly, tell us: What are you thankful for? I am thankful for being blessed with so many wonderful people in my life and the abundance that the world has to offer. Thank you gather for letting us gather.
What is your favorite Thanksgiving tradition? breakfast at the barn. my friends husband makes breakfast outside of his barn with a bon fire, hot cocoa, pancakes and bacon.

Most importantly, tell us: What are you thankful for?- I am thankful for the wonderful and close family I have. I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world!
Who will you spend Turkey Day with? My hubby and in-laws.
What are your favorite foods to eat that day? Roast turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, sweet potatoes, gravy, pumpkin pie!
What activities will you take part in that day? Early morning walk and watch Macys parade, afternoon walk then wine spritzers and appetizers, talking with family!

I'm thankful for my hubby doing well after his surgery last week and everyone in my family, friends!

What are your favorite foods to eat that day? pumpkin pie
What activities will you take part in that day? cooking LOL
Is there a special someone you wish could spend your Thanksgiving celebration with? the people I am plus the rest of my brothers and sisters that don't live close to me

Who will you spend Turkey Day with? My parents and my son. Both of my parents are elderly (Mama, 70 and in fair health; Daddy, 78 and in good health) and despite having the longevity genes on both sides, I don't know how many more years we will all be together.
What are your favorite foods to eat that day? Turkey! (preferably breast--I like to save the dark meat for soups).
What activities will you take part in that day? Playing Scrabble after lunch, then a walk around the block followed by a nap.
Is there a special someone you wish could spend your Thanksgiving celebration with?
I wish my grandmother (going on 97 in February) was strong enough to join us (only moved to a retirement home last year.) She's 100 miles away though and none of the family on that side of the state have enough room for everyone to bring all their family members and still be under one roof.

Most importantly, tell us: What are you thankful for? Thankful for continued health and the hope of improving it further.....I can't expand on this one. My present state of health is not so great but could be so much worse--I'm grateful that it's not, and that there is hope of improvement.
For me, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade is a must - I love those Broadway numbers and it's the real start of the holiday season

What activities will you take part in that day? Relaxing, seeing friends

Just simply gathering with all the family at Thanksgiving to enjoy a good meal. It's nice to catch up with each other.

Well I am trying to eat healthy now so I will be cutting back. Activities will including walking more then I usually do to work some of that off and visiting with family.

I am thankful for my family. It may sound cliche but it's true! I am in a good place family wise.
Who will you spend Turkey Day with? My sister Shannon, my husband and my new baby girl!
What are your favorite foods to eat that day? Turkey, mashed potatoes and greens!
What activities will you take part in that day? Watching the Lions on tv.

Is there a special Gather member you’d invite to Thanksgiving? I had asked Rob Appell to join us before his untimely passing. Other than that, I have a bunch of friends I would want to invite. Too numerous to mention!
Most importantly, tell us: What are you thankful for? My wonderful family and my husband's wonderful family too. And being able to get up each day to spend time with my new baby ... and for my wonderful husband and daughter.
Who will you spend Turkey Day with? Husband, children and their family.
What are your favorite foods to eat that day? Turkey, stuffing, pecan pie with whipped cream, dinner rolls with real butter!
What activities will you take part in that day? Watch TV, play with the grand-kids? Take a nap! Visit with my children for a change! (My son is buying us a 42" plasma TV for Christmas - on Friday :) ).
I wish my Mom and Dad were still here...I still miss them, even tho they are gone. I would love to visit with my sisters and brother, too, but they have their familys to visit with.
I am thankful my niece, Laura, is still living. She just had a liver transplant. I am thankful my daughter, Jen, took time off work to come and visit this summer. First time in years all 13 of us were together! My four kids and six out of seven grandchildren.
I am most thankful for my very patient husband, who takes good care of me; and my son, who takes good care of both of us. And of course for my two daughters and my older son, of course. They all mean the world to me.
God has been very merciful and good to us. I am extremely thankful.
Who will you spend Turkey Day with? My wife, and 3 children, Chelsey, Madison, and Logan, my good friend Ron who has no family here and another friend named Earl who is a very big Cowboys fan and me being a Raiders fan we will watch that game together.

Is there a special someone you wish could spend your Thanksgiving celebration with? My Mom but she is in California and I now live in Georgia
