Today I am thankful

that I got to spend an enjoyable weekend with my parents. Â I also got to see one of my high school teachers and my Aunt. Â She hadn't seen Little Miss in a year, so it was a good visit for them.

I'm also grateful for my GPS. Â Although I know the way, it was my first time driving it in about 5 years (Brian usually drives) and there are a lot of back roads, so it was nice to haveÂ reassuranceÂ that I was going the right way. Â Also, on the way back it was dark so it would have been very easy to miss a turn!

I was also thankful for the Raffi CD that helped keep Little Miss entertained. Â I love his CD's because she enjoys them, but they aren't too irritating like some children's CD's can be. Â He also really loves children and does a lot of work towards healing the planet.

Those are very good things to be thankful for! I've never heard of Raffi but sounds cool!
I'm thankful for a working toilet (our only toilet was broken for a few months)! And Sticky Fingers Carolina Classic BBQ Sauce. That stuff is so good that I can drink it straight from the bottle (that could be a pregnancy thing too!)!!!

I didn't get anything done this weekend. We did hang out with Jason's dad and the kids had fun helping their grandparents rake leaves.

Raffi is apparently very popular in Canada - my cousin who lives in Canada gave me one of his CD's. You can find them on Amazon as well.

Working toilets are wonderful!

I didn't get anything done this weekend either - I'm hoping to get a lot accomplished over Thanksgiving weekend!

I have my husband's old one and it's a lifesaver! I used to have a job that required a lot of travelling to various grocery stores - it came in very handy then!
Last night, there was a road I would have missed without the GPS. It's hard to see on those dark country roads!

I like my GPS too, even if it doesn't pick the same way I would go if want ti tot show me the way home.. Tells me to turn where there are no streets...

Yes, they do strange things sometimes but overall they are very helpful!

my weekend is usually boring. I was in the Army and I prefer boring rather than what I went through.
