The 2009 American Music Awards just started on ABC this evening with eight minutes of Janet Jackson.

WTF was Janet wearing? Her outfit was as boring as the first song ("Miss You Much"). It seemed like there were at least three endings to her entire performance; the transitions between songs really didn't seem to work.

Black Eyed Peas just took the first award - they were nominated with Nickelback.. really?

Gaga--best performance. and um Rhianna?? why would you put on a performance like that?? don't even TRY and be as freaky as Lady Gaga. Yay to Taylor Swift!!
