Hi there! These are my favorite nature photos from this fall. Hope you'll enjoy seeing them ~ some for the first time and others may have been posted before. Thanks for stopping by!
There are a lot of lighthouses in Michigan and I've just begun to explore them. Below are the Point Bestsie Lighthouse (which also currently serves as my icon) and the Little Sable Lighthouse and sand dunes.

I love being by the water ~ there's just something so magical aboutit. For me, it lends to the feeling of tranquility and serenity ~ where time stops for a short while. I've
never been lucky enough to live on the coast or along the shore, but I am a frequent visitor. I love towatch the waves lap against the shore and listen for the sounds they offer up. I enjoy people watching there as well for it's a place where people seem to be themselves and in a relaxed framed of mind. Forme, it's a place to get away from life's troubles and let them go outwiththe waves so that I can return to face whatever lies ahead ~
outwith the old and in with the new ~ a renewal, if you will.
Michigan is surrounded by Great
Lakes and many people mistake them for the ocean in photos as theyare a grand body of water where the opposite shoreline vanishes from sight, with sizable waves, white caps, and pretty sand beaches. The other nice thing about them is that they're unsalted! ;)
I was drawn to this stump for some odd reason. Walking over to check it out, I couldn't help but wish I were a wood carver as I envisioned two or three wolves in this piece of wood. The colors would give it a lot of depth and detail. Alas, I am no artist, but I do have quite the imagination sometimes...
There are some wonderful birds in nature that I witnessed this fall and was fortunate enough to get off a few good shots. I'm going to miss them, but I know they'll be back again next spring to observe, photograph, and enjoy.

Fall is harvest time and what collection of fall favorites would be complete without including some of nature's bounty!

Last but not least are the parks and roadway views I've encountered this glorious fall season. Some fall seasons are so quick that the leaves barely have a chance to turn before they're all blown away. This season offered up some wonderful sights to behold. Enjoy!
Rain-soaked pine needles. Amber hued weeds. Corn tassels amidst blue skies.

Summer's last rose. Trees along the river bend. Nature's painting.

Beautiful boulder pond. Vineyard in northern Michigan. Country back road.

Bridge reflections. Chrysanthemums. Sunset on the river.

Thanks you all so much for stopping by to view my fall favorites. I hope you enjoyed your time here. Until next time, stay safe and well! ^i^
