OH how funny!!

I went outside to retieve the mail...we didn't get any ..

Our neighbor lady was coming down the road after walking her dog around the block.  So I stopped to say hello and talk to her a spell.  I was petter her dog and making a fuss over him.

When I came back in I let Pixe sniff my hands... we have in-door-have-no-clue-what-a-dog-is cats.  She freaked out and started hissing.  I doubled over laughing so hard... her ears pinned back to head like she'd smelled the devil himself. 

Cats are so danged funny!

They sure are. We had a 25# Persion who ran around the house as if he were a dog - even greeted people at the door with two paws up on their knees.

I can just see that cat now! LOL We have 3 inside cats and they know just what dogs are. It's wonderful how much pleasure they give us.

I like cats too. At one time I had about 14 strays come by my house. I would feed them every day . Some were too wild to even pick up. I found out later they would stop by several homes in the area. When we moved I sure did miss them.But the person we sold our house to said he would continue to feed them. They were cool.

that's funny! I've had lots of cats over the years and they all have their own personality. The one I have now, Luna, has been nicknamed Luna-tic by me. She's totally insane. She eats absolutely anything that isn't nailed down, isn't the least bit afraid of Hugo, the St. Bernard. She shoves her face in anything he's eating, even though he will slobber all over her. She brings stuff up from the cellar in her mouth... I don't know how she does it...empty plant pots, rolls of toilet paper (which she then shreds), etc. She brought a box of tissues downstairs from the bedroom, then proceeded to empty it and shred them.

We have to hide paper products (i.e. toidy paper, paper towels, kleenex) from our orange kitty sebastian. Pixie likes to chew on cords... and it doesn't matter if they are plugged in or not.

she chews on cords, my gold necklaces (gold is toxic to cats), have to keep toilet paper in the bathroom cupboard..if its on the roll she shreds it and drags it all over the house. She got in the dryer yesterday when I was loading it, luckily I didn't start it without checking first. She's awful!

LOL... no kitties allowed in the laundry room!!
Fortunately I have a door that can be kept closed.
I did find Casey in the washer once. I have a picture of that somewhere LOL.

LOL, how funny! I was holding a puppy today up for adoption and Rocko (my dog) smelled her on me and went crazy, growling, barking...he was probably saying don't you bring another dog home, three is enough!

My other cats just sniff and sniff, trying to figure it out. I just thought it was hysterical that she started hissing. It was something I hadn't expected!

I just adopted 2 kittens a few months ago.......they did the same with my sister. She was just holding her cat before she stopped by and my cats froze...and slowly started sniffing her.

They are crazy.....

My step son bought his dog to the house one time. Let me tell you my cat wasn't impressed. Had to lock it up for a bit while the dog was here. Once we let him out he sniffed the whole house. Until the smell went away in the house the cat thought the dog was still around. Yes cats are funny.

sounds pretty funny. I used to do the same thing when I had cats - let them smell me when I came in from being around my friends pets. They were not happy - very jealous.
