The leaves turn and, before we know it, they're falling from their perches alongside the branches, and scatter about the ground. Like time itself, fall is so fleeting...
I'd like to share a few of my favorite photos from this fall and hope you'll enjoy them. Thank you for coming along with me!

Colors of fall as seen from the road. I was so excited to see these brilliants colors that I had to pull over to take a shot.

It was sad to see how quickly the marinas here in Michigan empty out. Nevertheless, I found them to be a beautiful setting ~ with or without all the hustle and bustle of just a few weeks before.

Also along the coast, I spotted this little scene. I'm not sure why it pulled at me, but it did. It's not a spectacular fall scene, but it spoke to me of the season ~ the white capped water and the fallen, outstretched limb with leaves just turning. For this branch, there might not be another season...
Fall is for harvesting of crops and there are always those that I consider to be unique to this season... such as squash, pumpkins, gourds, and Indian corn.

It was surprising to find this little critter attached to the under side of a leaf as I took a stroll down the drive. I hadn't seen too many butterflies and moths this year, but I figured this would be the last I'd see until next year.
Parks offer up their own beauty and I would love to venture out a bit more next spring to see if I can find some new ones to check out. I love to take walks in the parks and commune with nature. I especially love it when they have rivers and ponds that abound with wildlife. It's amzing to me to see them in their natural settings.

Swans have a very regal and elegant presence. I'm always sad when I see one by itself as I wonder if it's lost its lifetime mate.
"The swan in the pool is singing, And up and down doth he steer, And, singing gently ever, Dips under the water clear." ~ Heinrich Heine
The trees in the parks in fall are brightly colored and a pleasure to behold. Here are some of the views I happened upon during my visits.

Hope you enjoyed your visit with me today. Come back again soon! Take care and stay safe! ^i^

Looking at all your photo's it looks like you went through all the Season's.
Thank-You for the great post.
Fall is my favorite time of year, but the one thing I hate about it is that there are so many fun things to do that it makes the time go so quickly!
Thank you for posting your photo at Pretty Pictures.
One of the things I like to do in the fall is look down my block. We'll have trees in at least 4 different colors, sometimes 6 or more.
